About Port de Pailhères
The Port de Pailhères (2001 m) is one of the hardest climbs in the eastern Pyrenees. From Ax-les-Thermes the road climbs through forest and over high pastures in many hairpins.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
