About Col du Galibier
The Col du Galibier (2642 m) is one of the highest passes of the Tour de France and was first climbed in 1911. From Valloire the road climbs past Plan Lachat in long ramps to the summit; the last kilometre is the steepest.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
