About Mont Ventoux
Mont Ventoux (1910 m) is called the “Giant of Provence”. From Bédoin the classic ascent first runs through forest for a long time, then from Chalet Reynard across the bare scree summit to the weather station. The mistral often blows at the top.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
