About Col du Tourmalet
The Col du Tourmalet (2115 m) is the pass the Tour de France has climbed most often. From Luz-Saint-Sauveur the road climbs via Barèges to the summit, where the statue of the “Géant du Tourmalet” waits.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
