About Col du Grand Colombier
The Grand Colombier (1501 m) in the southern Jura is one of the steepest climbs in France. From Culoz forest sections alternate with ramps over 12 %; at the top the view opens to the Alps and Mont Blanc.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
