About Chamrousse
Chamrousse (1730 m) is the ski resort above Grenoble and hosted a Tour de France mountain time trial in 2001. From Uriage-les-Bains the road climbs steadily through forest.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
