About Col d’Aubisque
The Col d’Aubisque (1709 m) has been part of the Tour de France since 1910. From Laruns the road climbs via the ski resort of Gourette; the giant bicycle sculptures at the top are a favourite photo spot.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
