About Timmelsjoch
The Timmelsjoch (2474 m) links the Ötztal in Tyrol with the Passeier valley in South Tyrol. From Sölden the road climbs past Obergurgl and Hochgurgl to the border on the summit. In the Ötztaler Radmarathon it is the final big climb, ridden from the Italian side.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
