About Kalmit
The Kalmit (673 m) is the highest mountain of the Palatinate Forest. From Maikammer the road climbs out of the vineyards steeply through forest to the summit with its lookout tower.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
