Zwift Plus: is it worth it?
Since 29 October 2026 Zwift has a second plan: $29.99 a month or $299.99 a year, with a training plan and filmed routes. Here is what the extra $100 a year gets you, what’s still missing and what else is out there. We build an indoor app ourselves and haven’t tested Zwift Plus; the facts come from Zwift and the reviews linked below.
What Zwift Plus costs
In the EU it’s €29.99 or €299.99, in the UK £26.99 or £269.99. Zwift itself stays at $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year. New members get a 14-day trial of all Plus features on the monthly plan; annual plans have no trial but a 30-day money-back guarantee. An upgrade starts right away at a prorated price; a downgrade starts at your next renewal.
If you’re already on Zwift and billed directly by them, you can claim an introductory offer until 13 November 2026: monthly members get their next month of Plus at their current price, annual members pay the rest of their year prorated and get 10% off the following year. It doesn’t apply if you pay through the Apple App Store.
Zwift Video: filmed routes, with limits
At launch there are 21 filmed routes from six countries: the French Alps, Mallorca, Tenerife, the Western Cape, Lofoten, Utah, Colorado and the Scottish Highlands. PowerUps, segment leaderboards, Drops and XP work as usual, and you can ride any workout on any route. New routes are due regularly from the start of the new year.
- No group rides, races, meetups or RoboPacers; events are due in the coming months.
- Wi-Fi or Ethernet required, at least 50 Mbps recommended, plus 3 GB of storage on your device.
- Like all video apps, forward only: fixed camera, no U-turns.
- No routes of your own here either.
Zwift Coach: a plan that adapts
You give your goal, time and experience, and Zwift builds a plan of 4, 8 or 12 weeks, or up to an event at most six months out. It mixes workouts with routes, RoboPacers and events and adapts when you miss something. You manage the plan in the Companion app, and Zwift Coach is cycling only.
Who it suits
Yes, if you pay for Zwift every winter anyway, want to stay and will really use the plan: $10 a month is manageable, and there’s no second app to set up. The trial or the introductory offer is enough to find out.
Probably not, if the videos are the main draw: Rouvy has over 1,500 filmed routes according to Cyclists Hub and costs $10 a month less. Rouvy has also belonged to Zwift since 2026 but runs as a separate subscription. If you mainly want a training plan, there are cheaper ways too, see the table.
No, if you want to ride your own routes: neither Zwift nor Zwift Plus can do that.

The same mountains without a subscription
Several mountains from Zwift Video are on rampida as 3D routes with a leaderboard, from real elevation data rather than film: Col du Galibier (Lautaret), Cime de la Bonette, Sa Calobra. You don’t get real video there, that’s the honest difference. And if nobody has filmed your route: load it as GPX from Komoot or Strava and it becomes a 3D ride. iPhone and iPad don’t work with us, as iOS has no Web Bluetooth.
