Monte Zoncolan in the Carnic Alps is one of the steepest summit finishes of the Giro d’Italia. From Ovaro the middle kilometres exceed 15 %; tunnels just before the top amplify the roar of the fans.

In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
