About Simplon Pass

The Simplon Pass (2005 m) links Valais with Italy; Napoleon had the road built. From Brig it runs wide over the Ganter Bridge and through galleries to the top.

In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
