About Pico de las Nieves
The Pico de las Nieves (1949 m) is the highest road on Gran Canaria. From San Bartolomé it climbs through pine forest and hairpins, and from the top you can see as far as Mount Teide.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
