About Great St Bernard Pass
The Great St Bernard Pass (2469 m) with its hospice is one of the oldest crossings of the Alps. From Bourg-Saint-Pierre the road climbs past the tunnel entrance onto the old pass road.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
