About Fichtelberg

The Fichtelberg (1215 m) is the highest mountain in Saxony. From Neudorf the road crosses the Ore Mountains to Oberwiesenthal, Germany’s highest town, and then up the summit road to the Fichtelberghaus.

In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
