About Brocken
The Brocken (1141 m) is the highest mountain in the Harz and in northern Germany. The Brocken road from Schierke is closed to cars but open to cyclists. At the top: the Brocken railway, a weather station and, on clear days, a view far over the plains.
In rampida you ride the route exactly as it lies on the road: the gradient reaches your trainer metre by metre, the scenery is built from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap. A pacer group can pull you along, and next time you race your own ghost.
