JetBlack Volt in your browser

With rampida you ride your own GPX routes and the great climbs in 3D on your JetBlack Volt – right in the browser, nothing to install. The trainer follows the gradient metre by metre or holds your target power in ERG mode.

  2. Wake the trainerSwitch the trainer on and pedal briefly. Disconnect other apps (Zwift, manufacturer app) – Bluetooth connects to one app only.
  3. PairIn the menu under “Devices” → search “Trainer” and pick the JetBlack Volt. Heart rate and cadence sensors work the same way.

What you can do with your JetBlack Volt in rampida

Load a Komoot or Strava route as GPX and ride it in 3D with real terrain, the climbs of the Tour and Giro with leaderboards, ERG workouts in watts or % FTP, a pacer group with drafting and live riders on the same route. Finished rides can go to Strava.

Compatibility: control via Bluetooth FTMS. FTMS support according to JetBlack; older units or firmware may differ.

FAQ

Does the JetBlack Volt work with rampida?

Yes, if it speaks the standard FTMS protocol over Bluetooth – current JetBlack models do, according to the manufacturer. With older firmware, update it in the manufacturer’s app first.

Do I need an app from JetBlack?

Not for riding. rampida connects to the trainer directly in the browser (Chrome or Edge). You only need the manufacturer’s app for firmware updates or calibration.

Does it work on iPad or iPhone?

No. Safari and every browser on iOS lack Web Bluetooth. Use a Windows PC, Mac, Chromebook or Android device.

The trainer doesn’t show up – what now?

Bluetooth can only be connected to one app at a time: disconnect Zwift, the manufacturer’s app or your watch first. Then search again under “Devices” in rampida.
